A germ-me observation…
On my way into the office this morning I stopped at the grocery store to pick up fruit for our office fruit basket I saw several people getting shopping carts and using antibacterial wipes on the cart handle to sanitize them. Now, I’ve not done that as I’ve always thought of it as a free vaccine as to whatever is going around, and heck I shake enough hands so whatever is on there I’ve probably contacted it anyway.
Ok, so as I’m in the checkout the line I see people using the same pen to sign their receipts. Now, that pen gets into more hands than a cart ever will.
Think about just how germ-a-phobe we have become… (media driven?)
Its better to take care of your health and immune system then to depend on the “antibacterial wipes” to keep you safe. Dr. Steve

Gardasil, the new problem that big pharmaceuticals are out to convince you will save your children.
Deaths and over 5000 emergency room visits “reported”. This report is from CBS news.
By the way, in case you do not know, they try not to report most adverse reactions to vaccines unless you can directly prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the adverse reaction was due to the vaccine. So you know there were a lot more that were not reported.
Oh, and they are not happy just endangering your daughters, now they want to convince you to let them inject your sons also!
Here are two links you should read.

Food for thought: Do you think the big pharmaceuticals are in it for you or for profit?

I always find it shocking when people agree to surgery before trying other ways to fix an illness or dysfunction.
The other day I was talking to person in line at the grocery store (a long line I might add) and they were telling me that they were suffering from shoulder and elbow problems from working long hours on their computer at the office.
I asked what had they done for the problem thus far? Pills and more pills plus some physical therapy that did not help. They said the next step was a cortisone shot but their medical doctor had little hope that it would help and was preparing them for surgery.
I asked what about Chiropractic and other methods that were safe? Just the possibility of damage to the joint from the lidocaine in the cortisone shot, let alone the great chance of even death from the anesthesia during surgery let alone the possible permanent disability from the surgery not working out right should get you to want to try something else first, wouldn’t you think?
But no, they would rather stay with a dangerous route that would keep them on workman’s compensation and the possible free support for the future than have concern for their health.
OK, gamble with your future health, possibility even your life for a “maybe” free ride, wow what kind of thinking has the normal American worker come to?
I wish this was the only conversation like this I have had in the past year, but its not. Sadly it has become more often than I would like to admit.
In the long run, spending a little time and money to seek out an answer for your problems instead of giving in to a system that could careless about your future, where you are just another case number, will be a worthwhile investment.
Best of luck to your future

Happy New Year!
We had a wonderful new year welcoming in 2006. Hope you did too.
The first interview on drug deaths was this morning, January 2, 2006.
Accidental Acetaminophen Poisonings Rise.
The doctor explained the hazards of taking anything with acetaminophen. And the bigger hazard of combing different over the counter drugs that have acetaminophen and it killing you because you did not know that the cold medicine had acetaminophen plus you took a pain reliever also. Boom now your liver is toxic and it could kill you.
In this article is tells that the CDC has known that there are an average of 56,000 emergency room visits and 100 deaths each year blamed on Acetaminophen. Wow, what a wonder drug. Kills 100 people each year and who knows how many more that they don’t catch.
Here is an article about it on yahoo.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051226/ap_on_he_me/painkiller_risk
Anyway, the doctor went on to say how as long as you stay in the recommended dosage, your safe.
No mater what, they follow that corporate medical way of CYA with the drug companies don’t they.
Worse yet, they have known about this for a long long time.
Give me a break, there is always some risk to your health when you take any drug.
So, do you know which drugs in your medicine cabinet have Acetaminophen in them?
Bet you don’t.
It’s time to do something else about your health instead of drugs, and yes over the counter medications are as bad, if not worse than the prescribed ones because you assume they are safe!
Take responsibility for your own health in 2006, don’t let the drug manufactures mislead you down the road to a slow toxic death.

Welcome to Lark Chiropractic’s Blog.
Chiropractic is the safest form of health care there is. At the same time chiropractic is the least understood form of health care there is.
It amazes me when I talk to people, both patients and strangers alike, how little they know about their health, what the chiropractic lifestyle is, and how most of their health information comes from TV commercials, and published articles based on pharmaceutical drug companies paid for research.
It shocks me when I have a new patient and they tell me ALL the drugs they are taking, yes the prescribed one! These are not just old people, these are young people too!
Our blog will be about the wonders of living the chiropractic lifestyle, the miracles we see in our office, and the information that tells the truth about the pharmaceutical drugs and our drugged up nation.
