Health for a Lifetime

Upper Back Pain, Shoulder Pain, Neck Pain, and Headaches Success Story

I’ve had upper back pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain for the last two years. I’ve also suffered from frequent headaches due to this condition. I’ve gone to physical therapists and even had shoulder surgery hoping for improvement, but without much success. Finally, my doctor recommended seeing a chiropractor and that is when I began seeing Dr. Sharon Lark.

At first I was very apprehensive about this method of treatment, but I knew nothing else had worked, and Dr. Lark seemed to be very confident that she could help me. My first adjustment was very scary and somewhat painful, but within a week or two I was able to move my neck with less pain and I started to feel much more flexible. The adjustments started to feel more natural, like a good stretch, and the headaches became much less frequent.

Besides the regular adjustments, the daily exercises and the spinal molding have helped to keep my flexible and start to build up strength in these areas. Dr. Lark’s advice about using ice for headaches and sore muscles really helped a lot. She also suggested I replace my pillow with a Swedish neck pillow. After the first couple of days I really started to notice a difference in my neck when I woke up in the morning. It was no longer sore, as if I had slept in an unnatural position. After just a month and a half, I am feeling so much better. My back is much more flexible and my neck is now moving very easily and without pain. I have very few headaches and my shoulder muscles are no longer in painful knots. I have begun to lift weights to strengthen my muscles, something I haven’t been able to do in years. I am feeling much better and looking forward to a more healthy lifestyle.

Upper Back Pain and Migraines Success Story

Upper Back Pain and Migraines

I have been seeing Lark Chiropractic for some time. I would get migraine headaches five days a week. So I wanted to do something about it.

One day while I was seeing my massage therapist, she recommended the wonderful chiropractors who really help people. She told me about Dr. Lark at Lark Chiropractic.

So I went to Dr. Lark and they took some x-rays and found out that my neck and my back were not working together like they should, They put me on a program. I started doing my exercises and icing my back. So far I don’t get migraines any more. I do feel a difference in my pain. But I still have a lot of work to do before I get better.

These doctors are very good doctors. One thing I can say remember it took my time to get like this then it will take time to heal. So be patient with the time.

Hip and Leg Pain Success Story

Hip and Leg Pain

Over the course of a couple months, I had pain gradually increase in my hip and leg that eventually made it difficult not only to walk, but to sit down. I went to an orthopedic surgeon, and had an MRI performed and received the medical equivalent of a shrug. There was really nothing he  could do short of surgery, and he wasn’t even sure if that would help.

After seeing Dr. Sharon Lark, the pain began to subside right away, and I felt remarkably better after two weeks of treatment. In less than eight weeks, I was back to playing tennis two or three times a week. What more is there to say? The care I receive at Lark Chiropractic works. Period.

Low Energy Success Story

No Energy

Imagine waking up every morning tired and in pain. That’s exactly what I used to do. The back of my neck would be stiff and hurting. My lower back would be hurting and I would be tired after tossing and turning all night trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in. Not exactly the ideal way to start a new day.

After just one visit to Lark Chiropractic, I felt like a new person. Dr. Lark did a complete examination, and x-rays showed exactly what and where my problem was. We began treatment right away to alleviate the immediate pain, and are now working on correcting the condition that  caused the pain in the first place.

I am happy to say that the stuff and painful neck is no longer a part of my life. I am able to get a good night’s sleep and wake up feeling rested and refreshed. But the best part is that as we continue treatment, I have less and less pain, and it’s so much easier to get through easy day.
